On Sunday the 13th of September, we invited our personnel and their families for a special Primoris family day at the company HQ in Zwijnaarde, Belgium. During this event, our personnel got the opportunity to present their family to their colleagues and they could also give them a closer look at their working place.

The last few months quite a few new people have joined the Primoris team in order to keep up with the permanent professionalization and internationalization of our activities. In this newsletter, we proudly present Eva Bol, Jef De Lombaerde and Bernard Van Nevel to you.

By  compiling  data  and  information  on  RASFF  notifications,  existing  legislations  and  recent  changes  there-of,  Primoris wants  to  support  their  clients  further  in  developing  their food  business. In  this  newsletter,  we  summarize  food legislation modifications  starting  from  the 1st  of  July  and  ending  on the 28th of October 2015  included,  with  the link  to  the official legal text.

As part of ensuring a constant quality control and -improvement, Primoris takes part in many national and international ring tests. These are independent checks on the quality of laboratory analysis.

Primoris has updated its fosetyl analysis method to be able to distinguish between Fosetyl and phosphonic acid.                                                                                                

Primoris has now also added the analyses of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs to its analyses portfolio.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

Primoris is constantly looking into optimization of existing methods, with the purpose to increase robustness and reliability of our analyses results.

Promoris was selected, together with 6 other companies,  to take part in the French competition ‘Trophée de l’Intelligence Alimentaire’ (Trophy of Food Intelligence) in the category food safety. The competition, organized by the French association AGROPARC from Avignon (since 1984), rewards the taking of risks and innovations by  companies in the food safety sector.

According to a recent customer satisfaction survey, our Colombian clients consider Primoris as a renowned partner that puts quality on top of its list of priorities. And yes, this month, the new name Primoris and logo will also be introduced in Colombia.

PRIMORIS Belgium will be closed on following public holidays: Friday December 25th2015 and Friday January 1st 2016.  On Thursday December 24th and 31st, we are open, but be aware that our lab will be closed at 5:00 PM.
