Primoris ... for a better world: selected charities and organisations

Primoris is aware of its social role and contributes to enhancing food safety, product quality and sustainability. However, Primoris aims to give back a little extra to society and, therefore, donates 50 cents per sample in 2018 to a total of three charities that were selected by both customers and employees. Time has come now to announce and introduce the selected projects.

Opening of Primoris Costa Rica

Based on the success of the labs in Bulgaria and Colombia, we are now preparing to open a new lab in Costa Rica, which produces large amounts of fruit and vegetables, exporting a lot to Europe. Also, the country is located in the heart of Central America, which allows us to support many other Central American countries as well.

On 18 December 2018, we updated the recent changes in the European legislation on our website. Every two weeks we renew the list and you find there all changes that have been activated since two months.

Ciboris: interesting trainings regarding food fraud

Ciboris, partner of Primoris Holding, is currently organising a series of trainings on food authenticity for persons in charge of quality and purchase in the agri-food industry. Companies and consumers are regularly confronted with reports of food fraud and food authenticity.

Quality: proficiency tests

Proficiency tests are part of Primoris’ everyday operation. These are independent tests that try to verify the analysis quality of a laboratory. Further, their results are used to evaluate the performance of the analysis methods and, if necessary, adjust them.

Primoris at the Coresta meeting in Kunming

At the latest CORESTA Congress in Kunming (China), Hans Braeckman, head of Product Management at Primoris, presented a review of the innovation based on Proficiency Tests conducted by the CORESTA Agrochemical Analysis Sub-Group and its consequences for daily result interpretation in the tobacco sector.

Meeting the Colombian president in Brussels

During his visit to Belgium the Colombian president Ivan Duque offered Primoris, alongside the representatives of 15 other companies, the opportunity to attend a deliberation with the president. Primoris was represented by mrs. Carine De Clercq, general manager of the Primoris group.
