Click here to check out the pictures Legislation: revocation chlorpropham approval The European Commission has decided to no longer allow the use of plant protection products containing chlorpropham as active substance, as of 8 January 2020 at the latest. This information can be found in Commission implementing regulation (EU) 2019/989 of 17 June 2019. This regulation will be valid as of 8 July 2019. Read more   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Second edition of "Primoris…for a better world" | Enter your suggestions now! Last year Primoris Belgium organised the first edition of "Primoris…for a better world". This project now returns for a second edition after last year’s success. Specifically, Primoris will donate € 10.000 to two charities or projects, one of which will be suggested by customers and another by employees. As a result, Primoris will allocate a total of € 20.000 for this project. Read more   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Primoris active participant Relana meeting May 2019 Primoris has been part of Relana since its foundation in 2005. Relana organises an annual meeting in which current relevant themes are discussed. Hans Braeckman, Primoris’ Head of Product Management and Wim De Meyer, team leader for R&D, attended this year’s meeting in May, which took place in Almería, Spain.  Read more   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Ciboris: new training on Food Safety Culture Ciboris organises some interesting trainings this autumn for persons in charge of quality and purchase in the agri-food sector. They now have an all-new training on food safety culture (the humane dimension in food safety management). Additionally, you can also still register for a training on food fraud detection. Our last newsletter (April) introduced you to the official opening of Primoris Costa Rica, our brand-new laboratory in Alajuela with qualitative analyses for Central America and the Caribbean countries. We're proud to announce that Primoris Costa Rica now also offers accredited water analyses which fully comply with Costa Rican legislation. Read more   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Visit from Malawi delegation Earlier this month Primoris was visited  by a Malawi delegation. This visit was part of a familiarisation with the entire supply chain, starting at vegetable production, all the way to commercialisation. Ultimately, the goal is to create an infrastructure around Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe, granting around 900 vegetable farmers from outside the city access to the capital’s market.  Read more   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Summer holidays: we stay open!
